This kitten is an oldie but goodie, but it sums up exactly how I feel. It's not 85 degrees outside, it's 95 with a heat index of 105. Still, I've started to put up my fall decor, looked for my fall centerpieces, and I've started my Fall candles. In fact, I'll be at the Summertime Market this weekend, August 20, at Land O Lakes Heritage Park. It may be hot, but I'm launching my fall favorite scents (and keeping a few spring favorites, as well).
I've had lots of changes happening recently. I never thought I'd do it, but I stepped back into the classroom this year, teaching a new subject. I'm still doing music, but I'm teaching English as well. It has been amazing. This isn't my first rodeo - I know that some trying times are coming, but I'm so glad that I made the decision to go back to teaching. I think that I've found a way to balance my career and my business, and I'm so excited for the future. I'm still doing in-person markets, and the website will still be open for orders. In addition, I'm still on Etsy and eBay!
New scents are coming for the Advent Candle Calendars! Of course, I kept some of the old favorites, but I have some brand new holiday scents that you all will LOVE! I'm also doing the Advent candle calendar in 2 oz glass votives and 2 oz tins (same as last year), as well as 1 oz wax melts samplers (one cavity clamshell). For all of you out there who have always wanted to try the Advent calendar but don't do candles, now's your chance!!
